One of the folks I work with is encountering some strangenesses with a CVS repository, and has been requesting file restores on an ad hoc basis when problems are encountered. Is there a way that anyone thinks of to run a script or something to to a "reality check" on an entire CVS repository, and let the user know of stuff that seems odd?
