I had experienced the same problem with Mandrake Linux, Red Hat Linux or Debian versions (Phlak and Knoppix) but telling the kernel 'mem=220MB' did the trick. So, how do I tell to FreeBSD kernel how much memory do I have (220MB in this case)? What command should i give to him? Here is my system configuration: Duron1100, Sis630, video-sound-lan-modem buit in, 256MB SDRAM (from wich 32MB video shared). Can anyone help me? Thank you very much, Claudiu Tanaselia. ---- Home, no matter how far... http://www.home.ro
