I was thinking of upgrading from Gnome 1.4.x to Gnome 2.0 and was
wondering if anyone else has went through this upgrade process and if
they had any tips/advice for a smooth upgrade.

Also, do I remove all of the old Gnome 1.4.x components (ex.
gnome-media-1.4, etc.) before upgrading and is it possible to have GTK+
1.2.10 and GTK+ 2.x live together peacefully without any conflicts?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks
