When i upgraded from 2.2.8 to 3.4 all my password became unusable by 3.4, so, I recreated each of them. Since 3.4 it never happened again. I am on 4.1.1 now. But it seems like something has changed in enryption between 2 and 3. I have no idea how to avoid this, sorry.
