Hi !
do the following Actually it should be allready there.

go to your home directory
use your favorite text editor
edit .xinitrc and .xsession files to look like this
##
exec startkde
##
##

Actually one is enought for startx but I don't remember which one .
You can find it in startx script

save changes and try startx again.
I assume that you have startkde and all required stuff somewhere in your
PATH.
