I am going to fix these one at a time and then re-attempt it. Since the process took MORE THAN 24 HOURS it might be nice if you didn't "make clean" afterwards whenever there are errors like this, because I don't want to wait around for MORE THAN 24 HOURS again just to get another set of error messages. The problem is that I'm not entirely sure that anything will work if I "just fix these" because when a dependency "stops" I don't know if the other dependencies were skipped or not. I'm just hoping NOT to get a series of errors ever damn time I try this. So if you can figure out a "slightly better" way of making this happen, it would be nice - like making it RECOVERABLE after an error? Just saving the compiled OBJ's would do that, I think. As an option, even, for people who have enough disk space to handle it. The 'make clean' afterwards just made it impossible to do that. ===> Installing for pango-1.4.0 ===> pango-1.4.0 depends on file: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF/luximb.ttf - found ===> pango-1.4.0 depends on file: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/encodings/tcvn-0.enc - found ===> pango-1.4.0 depends on executable: pkg-config - found ===> Generating temporary packing list ===> Checking if x11-toolkits/pango already installed ===> An older version of x11-toolkits/pango is already installed (pango-1.2.5) You may wish to ``make deinstall'' and install this port again by ``make reinstall'' to upgrade it properly.
