So while hotplug-unplug has been working reliably with pulse (with my versi=
on),
this is still an issue with suspend. (Oddly, depending on which bus I plug =
the
device into, it's either the waiting to exit message loop or a silent hang.)

Userspace does not have the ability to respond at all when the detach is
happening because of suspend!

Now, the workaround is (of course) kldunload snd_uaudio in /etc/rc.suspend =
and
kldload snd_uaudio in /etc/rc.resume. But having to do that is not great.
