Hello,
First of all, it would be good to note that both men and
women work on freebsd. Yes, we do live in that age.... 

And secondly, the freebsd website, www.freebsd.org
describes fully and very clearly the nature of freebsd with
regards to ownership. The beauty of Freebsd and other free
software, is that it is  license-free and 
restriction-free. You will find all the information on the
site.

I'm sure the email was not intended to offend and none
taken. I work as a systems admin, and only too often do I
come across emails titled "gentlemen". I just thought I
would point it out.
