            Bug ID: 240301
Summary: Misleading USES=3Dgmake:lite example in section 17.1 of
Porter's Handbook inconsistent with section 17.31
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Website
          Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: pauamma@gundo.com

Section 17.1 of the Porter's Handbook
(https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/uses.ht=
ml#uses-intro)
gives "USES=3Dgmake:lite" as an example, but section 17.31
(https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/uses-gm=
ake.html)
and /usr/ports/Mk/Uses/gmake.mk both say that USES=3Dgmake takes no argumen=
t. I'm
told in IRC that the latter is correct. Maybe fix the example so it's actua=
lly
correct usage?
