OK.  I've been helping sobomax on a similar problem.  Can you provide
the following:

pccardc rdregs

Also, the "cannot allocate memory" is a big, red flag that something
serious is going wrong.  You may need to set pccard_memory to
something other than the default (try 0xd0000, 0xd4000, 0xd8000 and
0xdc000).
