This depends very much on geographic location, industry experience, skill
set, and task to be performed. That being said, as a Unix developer/admin
with 13 years experience working in the San Francisco Bay Area I do not see
much difference between the rate FreeBSD people get and the rates other
Unix people get. If the client is hip to FreeBSD/Linux then they treat it
as just another Unix system.
