If you deinstall it, it *wipes* /usr/lcoal/www/data, completely and utterly. This, of course, also wipes whatever else any other port (ie phpMyAdmin, IMP, etc) installs in that directory, which can get extremely annoying considering the amount of customizations one usually does.
