I added a > 1 retry count to READ CAPACITY, but the problem seems to be persistent. It's this !@$*!$)!*$)!$*!)$*!)$!*$!)$*!$) problem with Qlogic and startup resurfacing again. Remember that something similar bunged up Andrew for quite some time about 8 months ago.
