Unfortunately this is our default configuration:

    # $FreeBSD: src/etc/hosts,v 1.15 2001/12/11 22:36:10 rwatson Exp $
    ..snip..
    ::1			localhost localhost.my.domain
    127.0.0.1		localhost localhost.my.domain

This has caused me trouble before and I've been >< close to reversing the
IPv6 and IPv4 lines...
