Will a 'make update' update my 3.x-STABLE to 4.x-STABLE or just to a later, better 3.x-STABLE? In the past I have only cvsup'ped my sources from the RELENG_3 branch, but I have now made myself the entire repository without the 'tags' so I should have all versions, right? Anyway my previous cvsup and 'make world' have only gotten me from 3.2-RELEASE to 3.x-STABLE (Due to the RELENG_3 tag in my cvsup-file). Is it possible to get RELENG_4 sources and try a make world with that without causing havoc? /Micke ---------------------------------- Michael Josefsson, MSEE mj@isy.liu.se This message was sent by XFMail running on FreeBSD 3.5-STABLE ---------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
