Good morning,
I have a Integrated Analog Devices AD1885 AC'97 audio (came
standard with my Dell Dimension Workstation) and am
running 4.4 stable.

In my kernel I am using
device pcm

and dmesg has the following line
pcm0: <Intel 82801BA (ICH2)> port 0xcc40-0xcc7f,0xc800-0xc8ff irq 11 at
device 31.5 on pci0.

I can listen to cd fine but the when I try playing real audio or mp3
files, the resulting sound is at a very high and wrong pitch.
Did I configure the sound card incorrectly?
Many thanks in advance.
Ada
