ok... a couple of questions i'm trying to install linux netscape 6 on a free bsd machine... it installed pretty much on the debian drive on the same machine earlier. it's complaining about missing libraries when i try to install it on the bsd drive though: ./netscape-installer-bin: error in loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory so i guess my question is if anyone has had luck making netscape work, and also in general how to obtain libraries required to run linux programs. secondly, as root (even with messages turned off) or any time i run a command using 'sudo' i get messages to the terminal (error messages / sudo messages). is there a way to make all messages go to a log file and not to the terminal at all? -w To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
