I asked a few weeks ago about what sort of net-
interface card which worked at 100Mbit and went 
straight out on multimode fibre (ST conns).

Four of you folk were kind enough to reply: Thanks!

May I report I have now installed - working :-)) 
an Allied Telesyn AT-2560FX (PCI) [ UKP279.00+tax] 
and it is working fine using the fxp0 driver.
