I usually run builds either inside script(1) sessions, or with something to the effect of: env MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX=/big/obj \ make buildworld buildkernel 2>&1 | tee logfile which is more or less the same. Your step-by-step explanation in the previous post was nice :)
