Dear sirs.
when i installed freebsd 4.3 i tried to ftp my /home/...
and copied there somefiles.
after i setup firewall i couldnt as in my firewall i only
use shapping :
${fwcmd} add 50 allow all from 127.0.0.1 to 127.0.0.1
        ${fwcmd} add 100 pipe 1 ip from
10.20.0.0:255.255.0.0 to any out
        ${fwcmd} add 150 pipe 2 ip from any to
10.20.0.0:255.255.0.0 in
        ${fwcmd} pipe 1 config mask src-ip 0x000000ff bw
36kbit/s  queue 5kbytes
        ${fwcmd} pipe 2 config mask dst-ip 0x000000ff bw
200kbit/s queue 5kbytes
        #${fwcmd} add 400 pass udp from 0.0.0.0 2054 to
0.0.0.0
        ${fwcmd} add 65000 pass all from any to any
        ;;
inetd is enabled and there:
ftp     stream  tcp     nowait  root    /usr/libexec/ftpd  
    ftpd -l
but still i cant ftp to the box.
and u help?

second question. i want to restrict mac address to ip
address i read in man that arp -f <filename> will do that.
but after executing arp -f <filename> there was ipaddress
that i didnt include, but they could still use the
internet.
So plz tell me how can i use arp to.
1- restrict mac to ip that to let that ip work only on one
lancard.
2- and not to let pass any traffic for any ip that dont
have any entry in my file.
