Please, it maybe your own opinion; however, this kind of insult does
hurt all the people around the world who has been sharing ideas and
enthusiasm to promote and help free souls, like most of freeBSD users.

I still use Microsoft and various other UNIX type ( Red Hat, freeBSD,
Irix ) at home and work. I have found that with amazingly little
financial award, these wonderful people at freeBSD has been able to come
up with amazing product which to help people like you and me. Also, with
regard to unreliability, you should try using Windows, any windows, then
you could see which is far more superior. In fact, even with same UNIX
variance, Red Hat and Irix could not top the stability and reliability I
can expect from freeBSD. Why don't you just think about it? With no
financial rewards, these people were able to top many industry grade OS
by large margin, purely from their joy of doing the job right. Frankly,
I found no reason for your complain. Also, given all the bloody Window
only devices out there, I am actually surprised with amount of device
FreeBSD supports.

It may be possible that some would go to that road; however, I don't
believe so, because, if they have choose to do that, they would have
done it long time ago. Do you think MS is the only player in town? Sun,
SGI to name a few, they are all UNIX shop looking for any advantage they
can add to their UNIX OS. I gurantee you they been trying to attract
many of the freeBSD talents. You know what? freeBSD still stands strong.

Don't do this. This is plain paranoia and useless speculation that
entitles it as flaming.

Sorry to hear that but I fear you have become slave to your own opinion
rather than facts.
