I've recreated this here. Had to upgrade the BIOS in my 4521 for it to recognize my flash, and had a number of other logistical problems that have kept me from trying to fix this bug... I also sometimes saw ad0 fail to show up when my wi1 (I have not wi card in the minipci slot) failed in the same way that yours did. Warner
