hi,	

for some reason all my dns lookups are extremely slow.  i'm using bind 8.2
as my local resolver.  if it is authorative for the domain it works fine,
but if i try to resolve a site outside my domain it takes 3-4 seconds.
some sites dont resolve at all.  i have the latest named.root file
(updated today from ftp.internic.net).  any ideas?
