There really isn't anything to say about them that is related to FreeBSD,
they're just IDE drives.
I've had a 244MB Caviar for 5 years, that has been on 24 hours a day for
most of those years, that still works perfectly and a used 1.6GB Caviar
that I've had about 3 months, that also works fine.
