I can see that in general that one would like to limit day to day discussions about video cards to only the appropriate newsgroups. But I think that an announcement such as this is of such great interest that it should be sent several groups. I don't think that announcements as to how this is proceeding on a day by day basis should be distributed widely. But I do hope that when beta versions are available that this info will also be widely distributed.
