I'd suggest axing the ncr driver (why is it still in GENERIC now that SYM supports the older devices??). And after that, some of nics which are unlikely to be found in alphas (rl, sf, sis, ste, tl, vr, wb, xl, le, fxp). We really need a modules floppy so we can keep the install kernel small & allow people with uncommon hardware to still install over their uncommon devices.. Since we're the only Open Source OS to support some of the Mylex controllers found in AlphaServers, it would be nice to make it easy for people to install onto one..
