Today, "Flash" is being used for the purposes that animated GIFs have been serving in the past. But with "Flash", you can annoy the user not only with jumping, popping and dancing graphics, but with beeping, boinging and crunching sounds, and furthermore, with lots of annoying and needless interaction.
