Check /etc/login.conf and create a class daemon or use vipw to remove the references to that login class. It's the 5th field in the /etc/master.passwd file. -Chris -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of jwelsh@qrtp.quintiles.com Sent: Thursday, June 24, 1999 8:14 AM To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: BSD 3.2 stable weirdness When I tried to log into my BSD box this morning I couldnt.. it would not accept my password..
