Basically, I've been trying to get the form (in syslog.conf) below to work:- #+hostname fac.level /var/log/somefile #+* to work but found it to be a bug in the most recent addition/commit of syslogd.c I haven't seen the PR return yet but if you want the patch I can send it over. It's only the addition of one line of code.
