Hi, being back from holidays, I built a complete up-to-date 3.1-STABLE system and noticed, that accessing JAZ drives now works as fast as it used to be under 2.2.8-NonCAM. I have now about 2MB/sec, regardless of the file coming from the memory or via the network: coming from the network: andre@bali:/server>mydd /server/FreeBSD/ctm/3/src-3.0001.gz /a/jaz/test 725+1 records in 725+1 records out 47542559 bytes transferred in 25.018278 secs (1900313 bytes/sec) now coming from the buffers in memory: root@bali:/server>mydd /server/FreeBSD/ctm/3/src-3.0001.gz /a/jaz/test 725+1 records in 725+1 records out 47542559 bytes transferred in 23.714647 secs (2004776 bytes/sec) So I don't know what fixed it but it really rocks :-) -Andre To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-scsi" in the body of the message
