Greetings, We're being plagued by file system errors. We're having to fsck about once every 10 days now. This, of course drops you into single-user mode so nothing can be done remotely, and our sys admins are getting tired of coming in at the wee hours. Problems seem to be most duplicate file stuff with user directories. Machine: P II, Adaptec SCSI UW, all the basics - webhosting use. Has anyone else been experiencing similar problems? Could it be the firmware for Adaptec outpacing development. We'd hate to scrap the OS, but we're starting to think there's no other altnerative.
