bsam and I talked about making the default linux_base port "mostly
ready" for ldap and krb5. This means we would like to make it work out
of the box as much as possible. This also means that we need to include
the krb5 libs into the linux base port and making a
copy/link/fallthrough to the FreeBSD config. This would make this port
obsolete.

Any help is appreciated.

Aside from this: AUTOMATIC_PLIST and perhaps BRANDELF_* stuff as in my
comments for linux-curl.

This one has a plist, that's nice. But you need to add
BRANDELF_FILES=... to the Makefile. And maybe it is a good idea to make
a link from the linux openssl.cnf to the FreeBSD one (or not, I didn't
had a deep look at it).

Bye,
Alexander.
