Digging through my mail on the topic.... ===================== Date: Tue, 18 Feb 1997 15:15:08 -0800 (PST) From: Satoshi Asami <asami@vader.cs.berkeley.edu> To: jfieber@indiana.edu Cc: thomas@ghpc8.ihf.rwth-aachen.de, tg@freefall.freebsd.org, CVS-committers@freefall.freebsd.org, cvs-all@freefall.freebsd.org, cvs-ports@freefall.freebsd.org Subject: Re: cvs commit: ports/misc/isearch - Imported sources * Exactly. My SP and Jade (DSSSL engine) ports are just waiting * for such a category to be formally approved. Ok, I believe this was the final list for the new categories "text" and "converters". text: glimpse, ispell, mgdiff, rman, isearch, unroff converters: recode, trans, uudeview, uudx, uulib, btoa, mpack Is this ok? Satoshi ====================== I would slightly ammend this because "text" by itself is unclear. "textproc", an 8 character (is this important) version of "Text Processing" might be better. If I get an official go-ahead, I'll create a new textproc directory and commit my SP port. -john
