>Organization:
>Environment:
machine will not boot so do not have uname -a
>Description:
When I go to install the OS on my Western digital 200gb HD I get a geometry error and the suggested geometry is different than the BIOS says. When I try to enter the size that the BIOS says the software says that the there are too many cylinders. And it suggests a smaller number of cylinders and a larger number of sectors.
>How-To-Repeat:
Run fdisk on a new HD > 200gb.
>Fix:
Only way that I know to fix it is to go to 4.9.
