            Bug ID: 246434
Summary: dns/powerdns: Wrong pidfile in rc script
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: dominik.lisiak@bemsoft.pl
                CC: tremere@cainites.net
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(tremere@cainites.net)
                CC: tremere@cainites.net

I cannot stop the server using rc stop command:

# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/pdns stop
pdns not running? (check /var/run/pdns/pdns_server.pid).

'pidfile=3D/var/run/pdns/pdns_server.pid' line in rc script seems to be the
problem. The pid file is created at '/var/run/pdns/pdns.pid'. If I remove t=
he
mentioned line everything seems to work fine.
