This belongs on -ports, not -current.. if it really was a c++ compiler bug, it wouldn't matter whether you compiled MySQL out of ports or not. Although I do seem to recall being able to compile MySQL 3.22.27 out of the ports collection on 3.3-STABLE yesterday, with an up-to-date ports collection.
