Upstream is now in v1.10, including some more bugfixes, so this will all be fixed when the port is updated. I already use the version in svn so I'm ok to close this PR. I didn't find any other open (update) PRs for this port, so I'll probably put together the patch to update it to v1.10 and send-pr it in the next few days, unless the maintainer gets there before me... :) \n\n
