Hello,

I'm running FreeBSD 4.4 STABLE on a 21164A/164LX.
Last cvsup was two days ago.

glib 1.2 in /usr/ports/devel/glib12 fails configuration.
It's unable to find any thread functions.

It displays failure to link against libpthread and libthread,
but from reading the script it looks like it tries to link
against libc_r too.

From what I've been able to figure out, libc_r is the library
on FreeBSD that contains the thread functions it's looking for.

This failure to configure has been there since just after
4.3 RELEASE.
