That's almost what I am doing. The difference is that instead of modifying ExtUtils::MakeMaker, I override some of its functionality. This appoach makes maintenance of the system Perl and the transition to newer versions of Perl in the future somewhat easier. Cheers, &Anton. -- May the tuna salad be with you.
