Unfortunately I do have a problem. I can not ping the outside world! The best I can do is a traceroute. And even that very, very slowly. It gives no replies at all, ending in host not available. I have been monitoring the CATV network I'm on for some 2 years or so and have no intention of stopping. Hence I need the ping to work. For good measure I disabled the ICMP_BANDLIN option but to no avail. I've also tested it with kernel.GENERIC with like results. Anybody any ideas? Roelof -- Home is where the (@) http://eboa.com/ is.
