The problem is that the device times out writing to the disk using the UDMA mode. Info. Motherboard PCCHIPS (yes I know!) 598LM. IDE0 Quantum Fireball Master. HP CDRW Slave. IDE1 MAXTOR 8 Gig drive. Master.
