I downloaded the OSS driver from 4front, and removed the sound driver from my kernel. Using the OSS sound driver, I got the real player to play the introduction stuff once. After that when I tried to play anything I locked my xserver. When I tried to kill the xserver the macine does a hard reset. I understand that other run it just fine, but I have not had that experience. Am running 2.2.6-stable built from source 4/7/98.
