I'm going to paste the text I wrote last time someone asked that question= : Before marking all the ports BROKEN, I started by changing the MASTER_SITE_GOOGLE_CODE entry to make things fetchable again. The problem with that approach is that it is just hiding the fact that the software have not been updated for more than a year and will never be again. The goal of marking all those ports broken is that people will go and look for where the software went after google code, so that it gets updated when new releases go out. If the software has not been moved to some other place, (it takes about 30 seconds to click the automatic migration to github thing, and it is usually done within the hour,) since march 2015, it is most likely abandoned and should not be kept in the ports tree. --=20 Mathieu Arnold --CwEcrwsmuu8DXFbJ1bnfNwTmQjvf7HElE-- --xMXdRhwQNoeMWwO1IlRxG8g8qaRtCJiea Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQJ8BAEBCgBmBQJX43+VXxSAAAAAAC4AKGlzc3Vlci1mcHJAbm90YXRpb25zLm9w ZW5wZ3AuZmlmdGhob3JzZW1hbi5uZXQzQUI2OTc4OUQyRUQxMjEwNjQ0MEJBNUIz QTQ1MTZGMzUxODNDRTQ4AAoJEDpFFvNRg85IN+4P/1ZMcXrI2Fmr6lgUlPn8jy/J gr88uwDaCtePE4YDvqmmMwZpBWcHnV2s4CPZ/Nh1w80Cc7t6sJfPdLAwsaV6Ze3q G4MHcEvQ0a3RyImEccMqu+itm+LJXfMsCiLN3CakGR8Iwc14ygGyBbWdZAAL+AHo 8e7qlzz1r+TRnDmIZnyebtMAgwrFAieHENs8XyVyoD8reoLaQXC5xRvJh+/hbcZC 4C7RWxAInF9PKW/iwzjRntwRRX4Te7RgwhXnrmBO955o+JEJFTOBgZux3aFrncL7 uC/YCFWahO+J8iKK5FQswsuP67mgHy1P0EaOo2no8Y7GtqhpaydUVEI/NUXGYwKz QXqb7kdcYubUVE7keZx54RwenKLRY+VmYRV+joBQ9Q7AOjrJG4aN8aOyR88vmSV6 QgTxmazviYU80yerRUD37KizVgjWmaAHmrFM9C5ML0m+Dnr0zLlBi7QgfT0dTyjk iq9lrIwS8j84VuikK9pT6GNsAXmG1xcBVBVatH6hdFr21LR7/1EIRF7SOLGfABsv XnBjKT0AKLmV2Tc/ffK3bvEWDozVp9I7Hir8Ld31xFUjvnVNovl+ij0k8b7TjgIu jDl3K4iOtnycGpNGXv7xP5293/nt7Q2uf/z3rwTzg0Gq1oyhMPgpA/WL1HxNWOZN 95jS1FK5GxGcpmdkkc07 =418l -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --xMXdRhwQNoeMWwO1IlRxG8g8qaRtCJiea--
