Since it works for me on -stable, I would say apply the same fix.

I did:

pkg_deinstall mozilla
pkg_deinstall mozilla-headers

Then

cd /usr/ports/www/mozilla
make clean install

To upgrade to mozilla 0.9.8.  You probably also could have done

portupgrade --uninstall-shlibs mozilla

as well.
