A proper bug report includes: 1) The exact command that you typed to crash the system (could it be that you are using the block device instead of the raw device??). 2) The output from the dmesg command after booting with the '-v' option. 3) The exact kernel error messages and/or panic messages that the system outputs during this situation. 4) Your kernel config file. -- Justin T.
