Been a real busy day with many interruptions. Anyway, the attached proposed rc.d/kresd file, while not elegant, serves its purpose quite well. Ideally; to better deal with daemon(8). I'd create a sup script && install it in ${prefix}/sbin/ That way one can get more finite control over the process that daemon(8) is launching.
