For anyone who is interessted: CARP will be unable to handle traffic because of the virtual mac addresses of the vhid's. The frames for the vmacs will be dropped at hardware. The Patch should be pushed urgently upstream to the release versions. Fun Fact: the email contact in the oce manpage is not available anymore. I've contacted Broadcom. But there is still no response.
