I was afraid of many clang warnings might break some feature. I re-checked your research that multimedia/ffmpeg's patch can be applied to Handbrake. It is true and only the patch is needed for i386 arch. I re-made "patch_clang_handbrake_107_2" which changes to use clang and includes the ffmpeg patch. I tried to make it simple as I can, and I expect this patch will be able to work for next release of Handbrake. I tested this patch builds Handbrake successfully, and the binary works on FreeBSD-11.1R amd64. I checked i386 build succeeded, but I didn't run it. Testing on i386 will take me more time.
