cool, thanks everybody. i took the plunge and grabbed the latest binaries from XF86.org (the port was't working, will document when i get home tonight) but now my imwheel isn't working ... when i add the ZAxisMapping line to XF86Config it refuses to start (i think i said something like " not a valid option" ) any thoughts? thanks ben I've run XF3.3.6 and XF4.02 on my TP770.
