I'm a senior in Computer Engineering, and also assistant system
administrator at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. We just
purchased version 2.0 of FreeBSD UNIX to use in a UNIX design class.
One of the assignments in this class is to write a Device Driver, which
will be a SCSI controller.
Can someone tell me if install the device driver in the kernel in FreeBSD
2.0 without having to recompile the kernel? I know that you don't need
to do that in Solaris.
Thank You for your help
Luis Verissimo
